Claudio Vignetta
Senior police official from Córdoba, Argentina, and creator of the country's first police negotiation team.He organized the first edition of the Games in 2013, serving as a fundamental pillar. Thanks to his unwavering support, vision, and leadership, the Latin American Police and Firefighter Games are now a reality.
Guillermo Velásquez
Former security advisor to the Chief of the Presidential Staff of Honduras and the Municipal Police of Tegucigalpa.His ability to analyze complex situations and find innovative solutions has taken the Games to another level. His unwavering support and professionalism have been present since the inception of the Games.
Bernard Arsenault
Former senior official of the Sûreté du Québec, Canada, and former Director of the International Centre for the Prevention of Crime (ICPC).Bernard is the conscience of the AITP, advocating for and representing the model of policing that all citizens around the world deserve. His contribution to the Games has been indispensable; his expertise in protocol and diplomacy has been key to the success of our institutional relationships.
Alejandro Vergara
Police Commissioner of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Organizer of the 2013 and 2016 Games in Buenos Aires.His objectivity and commitment were crucial in overcoming any challenge. Proactive, decisive, and steadfast in his convictions, he has left an important legacy for the Games, serving as director from 2013 to 2019.
Cinda Brooks
Former police officer from Texas, USA.A great police champion in various sports such as athletics, biathlon, indoor rowing, etc. Cinda dedicated much of her life to helping vulnerable or distressed women.
Rolando Cruz
Former Border Patrol officer from Texas, USA.A champion in various sports such as athletics, biathlon, duathlon, CrossFit, etc. Born in Mexico, Rolando has a deep understanding of immigration issues and has always been a role model for Texas police officers in terms of humane treatment towards illegal and vulnerable immigrants.
Fernando Ortega
Former Director of COMUDE Guadalajara and Director of CODE Jalisco Since 2018.Fernando has been a global reference, the "guru," in organizing sports, police, firefighter, and civil events. He was the first to materialize our desire to organize the Games in the city center to strengthen the relationship between the police and citizens, serving as the leader of the fifth and tenth editions. Thanks to his intervention in the Latin American Games, a vital transformation was achieved, and critical organizational moments were resolved, allowing the event to become one of the main global events for police officers and firefighters. Fernando Ortega, the man who revolutionized the Games.

Police officer of the city of Guadalajara, Mexico, and great international swimming champion.Lalo is a model of a modern police officer, exemplary in his police conduct but also as a human being. Always interested in the sports development of police officers and firefighters, he was the one who, thanks to his vision and ability to inspire others, made it possible for the Games to be organized in Guadalajara in 2017, collaborating in strategic partnerships. He was also the first Mexican police officer to compete in this sporting event in 2014.
